Imperfection is perfection.
The perfect left break, that perfect skate spot. Those are things I searched for growing up. Then I discovered Tabasco sauce at 15. That sent me on a lifelong love of all things spicy. But today, it seems like we've sacrificed flavor for heat.
Let's get back to basics. Let's get back to that time, the time between sets where you're sitting on your board with the coast, which feels miles away, and the horizon doesn't seem to end. Those moments of prefect serenity.
The Search is just that. We're searching for that perfect moment, in a bottle. The peppers are grown in our garden in Willow Glen and produced in small batches. Every season is different because the search never ends, but I guarantee that the flavor is consistently awesome. Our goal is to deliver a hot sauce that delivers awesome flavor AND brings the good heat that doesn't overwhelm your meal. It's amazing on eggs, pizza, chicken soup, salad, pretty much everything.
Peppers we grow and use include (but aren't included in every vintage - and that's what makes The Search special - habanero, chocolate habanero, scotch bonnet, Caribbean red habanero, red savanna, fatalii, 7 pot douglah, chocolate 7 pot douglah, purple death, but Molokai (ghost pepper), Trinidad scorpion, maruga scorpion, Carolina reaper.
